   TRADE PERFORMANCE FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL 2009 AND THE PERIOD OF   
   On a month-on-month basis, exports for April 2009 declined by 5.6% to RM41.12 billion, while imports increased by 8.8% to RM33.76 billion. Higher imports of intermediate and capital goods, contributed to an increase in total trade of 0.4% in April.
